Overview
Computers have intruded almost every field known to mankind but there are some fields in which its adoption has been at a very slow pace. Prescription generation is one such area. Most of the hospitals have softwares to record patient details but there are very few hospitals where softwares are used to generate prescriptions.
We at Aarohi Softwares have created software which will not only relieve doctors from writing prescription by hand but will also save time which can then be used for examining more patients or spending that extra time with family. Not to mention, the prescription will be vivid and clear along with other benefits that come with computerization.
Our Team
- Utpal Kumar, Founder
- Utpal Kumar holds MS in computer science from University of California, San Diego with a perfect GPA. Prior to establishing Aarohi Softwares, he worked at Philips Healthcare, Bangalore for around 5 years and also had a small stint at Arista Networks in Santa Clara, California.
Utpal belongs to a family of doctors which explains his inclination towards the medical field. He used to see that doctors spend a significant amount of time writing prescription by hand. He thus thought of leveraging his computer science knowledge to create a software which would aid the doctors in creating prescription.
- Jayant Kumar, Principal Advisor
- Dr Jayant Kumar is a young Ophthalmologist who is presently the principal advisor for the company. He passed his M.B.B.S from Government Medical College, Nagpur with distinction in 6 subjects. He is presently pursuing his MS Ophthalmology at a premier institute in India and has already cleared the advanced stage of FICO exam.
He strongly believes that it is high time the doctors in our country embrace technology in their day to day practice which can be the key to improved efficiency and greater productivity. He is in constant touch with the software development and testing procedure with his regular feedback for possible improvements.
